A study of the effectiveness of first-division soccer club analysts in Iraq from the player’s point of view

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to gain insight into the reality of analysts of top-division football clubs by developing a scale for analyzing football matches and identifying its own fields as well as paragraphs that describe the content of each field in order to present a true picture of its reality, as the study aimed to do:

1. Building a scale for analyzing football matches for first-class clubs.

2. A study of the reality and effectiveness of first-division soccer club analysts in Iraq from the players' point of view.

3. Find the percentage of the relative importance of the fields and the amount of their reality achieved through the scale.

The researcher used the descriptive approach. The research community consisted of players (23) from clubs participating in the first-class club league, with (600) players, the construction sample was (362) players and the application sample was (120) players. The research and researcher conducted all the necessary procedures to build the scale and find its areas and their relative importance. In addition, they determined the validity of the paragraphs by finding indicators of validity and stability to apply the scale. The most significant conclusions were:

1. An evaluation of the effectiveness and performance of the first-division football club analysts using the football match analysis scale.

2. The percentage of first-class football clubs' analysts' performance reached 47.12 percent.

3. The percentages of relative importance for the domains of the scale were (26)%, for the field of player performance analysis and incident verification (10.49)%, which means a percentage of (40.35)%, while the percentages of relative importance for the field of game system analysis were (24) %, and verify the incident (11.851)%, which equals a percentage of (49.38)%, and the percentage of relative importance for the field of team organization was (20)%, and verify the incident (12.1)%, which represents a percentage of (60.5)%, While the percentage of the field of analysis before the match was (16)%, and what was achieved from it was (8.39)%, which means a percentage of (52.44)%. , which represents a percentage of (30.64).
