Abstract

The lineaments of this research are explicit in the interest in the common abstract tripartite verbs in the morphological chapters in the Lisan Al-Arab lexicon. The topic was twofold; the first: morphological, represented by the morphological chapters and their structures in the language, and their association with each other in the Lisan al-Arab lexicon. The second: It is represented in the significance of those chapters and their meanings through the verbs contained in the Dictionary of Lisan Al Arab. We chose this dictionary because it is a huge encyclopedia because it is the most comprehensive and largest of the Arabic language dictionaries. Where Ibn Mandhoor collected his material from five sources, and it is also one of the richest dictionaries with evidence. It treats many linguistic issues, and it is well controlled and presents the meanings of the words in the abstract or through the context, which has a great impact in clarifying the significance of the common verbs Chapters. The structures of the morphological chapters can be taken as a basis, or the morphological sections’ structures can be taken as a basis for participation, with the participation of one chapter with more than one chapter and the effect it leaves on its meaning. The research was divided into a preface and three demands that dealt with in the preface the definition of the first chapter. As for the first demand, it includes the common verbs between the first and second chapters whose meaning does not change. The second demand includes verbs whose meaning changes by changing their chapters, and the third demand includes verbs who’s meaning sometimes changes by changing their chapters.
