Abstract

Through the researcher's familiarity with many previous and similar researches and studies related to badminton, in addition to the fact that he practiced playing and training, and to the best of his knowledge, he noticed an omission regarding the construction of an introductory games program concerned with developing basic badminton skills at the level of physical education colleges, which aroused the researcher's interest and made him conduct this study. The study aims to build a proposed educational program using introductory games and find out its impact on developing some basic badminton skills for third-stage students at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Al-Qasim Al-Ghadra University, and the researcher also addressed within its objectives to identify the effectiveness and impact of introductory games in developing some basic badminton skills for third-stage students at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Al-Qasim Al-Ghadra University. The researcher used the experimental method using one of the experimental designs, which is the experimental design of two groups, one experimental and the other control, using pre and post measurement for both groups due to its suitability and the nature of the study. On the other hand, the study sample was selected by the purposive sampling method, where the sample size reached (60) students from the third stage of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Al-Qasim Al-Khadra University for the academic year 2023-2024, distributed into two equal groups, while the total population reached (84) students.
