The study aimed to prepare training exercises on complex-sized fields. It also sought to identify the impact of training on complex-sized fields on certain skill capacities of young football players and to determine the preferential effect between the experimental and control groups regarding some skill capacities of young football players. The researchers employed an experimental method with a design of equivalent groups, both control and experimental, utilizing pre-test and post-test assessments. The research population was defined as young football players from clubs in the holy province of Karbala for the sports season (2023-2024), totaling 12 clubs with approximately 200 players. A sample was randomly selected (by lottery) from the researched population, represented by the youth players of Al-Jamaheer Sports Club. Additionally, the researcher selected a sample from the youth players of clubs in the province of Karbala for a pilot experiment, excluding them from the main sample. The study concluded that training on complex-sized fields has a clear effect on developing the skill capacities examined in the research, including rolling, passing, and shooting. The researcher recommended conducting similar studies for other age groups and using different training methods aimed at developing skill capacities and their outcomes.
