Abstract

In recent years, the sports field has witnessed remarkable developments due to advancements in science and technology in the areas of physical education and sports sciences, alongside other scientific fields. This progress is particularly evident in studies related to motor learning and cognitive processes. Learning is one of the cornerstones of the educational process, which characterizes the life of a living being from birth until death, as no human activity, in its various forms, is devoid of learning and motor education. The research problem arose when the researcher explored the opinions of gymnastics instructors regarding the level of students in performing the investigated skills. They confirmed that the students’ performance was not at the required level, as the movements are characterized by difficulty and require precision in learning, alongside the observation of weaknesses that cause failure in skill performance and limited outcomes. The research results indicated that the experimental group showed a preference for the ADDIE model due to the use of this method with technological learning techniques, such as Data Show, through slides that illustrate how to perform the skills along with brief explanations of the performance. The researcher attributes the learning and acquisition of the investigated skill to the students' responses to all learning requirements during the educational units, considering this as one of the most effective means to highlight their potential, maintain their level, and achieve better performance according to their inclinations and desires. Additionally, the effectiveness of applying this model (ADDIE) with its steps contributed to the development of motor skills.
