Abstract

This research aims to raise the level of anaerobic fitness and some physiological and physical variables for soccer players by (preparing and designing a training program using anaerobic training to develop some physiological variables and physical abilities of soccer players, identifying the effect of anaerobic training on some physiological variables specific to soccer players, and identifying the effect of anaerobic training on some physical abilities specific to soccer players). The researcher used the experimental method due to its suitability for the nature of the research. The researcher utilized an experimental design for a single experimental group using pre- and post-tests. The researcher randomly selected the research sample from (20) soccer players. The researcher divided the research sample into (12) players for the exploratory study (test validity and reliability standardization), and (8) players for the experimental group. One of the most important conclusions was (the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre-test and post-tests). The post-test results for the experimental group were in favor of the post-test average in the physiological variables of soccer players. There were statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test averages for the experimental group, in favor of the post-test average in the physical abilities of soccer players. One of the most important recommendations was the need to implement the anaerobic training program proposed in the study on soccer players of different age groups, with the intensity of the load and rest periods adjusted to suit age and fitness level.
