This study aimed to reveal the predictive and correlational relationship between certain selected motor abilities and the performance of the overhead serve skill in volleyball among players of the Al-Tali'a Club. The motor abilities under study included balance, coordination, agility, and accuracy, as they are considered influential indicators in the quality of the serving skill. The researchers adopted the descriptive method using the survey and correlational approach due to its suitability for the nature of the problem. The research population consisted of players from Al-Tali'a Club who were randomly selected. The study utilized the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to extract correlation coefficients and predictive coefficients in order to identify the variables most influential in the performance of the overhead serve. The results showed a significant correlation between both agility and balance and the performance of the serving skill, indicating that these two variables contribute clearly to improving the ability to execute the serve with accuracy and effectiveness. The researchers consider agility to be one of the fundamental components that enable the player to change direction and control their steps during the preparation for the serve, while balance contributes to enhancing the player’s ability to control and effectively transfer the generated forces during the serving movement, thereby improving performance quality. On the other hand, the results did not show a significant correlation between motor coordination and the performance of the overhead serve. The researchers attribute this to the possibility of a low level of coordination among some individuals in the sample, in addition to the small sample size, which may not be sufficient to accurately detect such relationships. This points to the necessity of conducting future studies with larger samples. The study concluded that some motor abilities, particularly agility and balance, have a clear predictive ability regarding the performance level of the overhead serve skill among Al-Tali'ah Club players, making them influential variables that should be enhanced in training programs.
