The importance of this study lies in examining the effectiveness of the SQ3R strategy, which requires active and serious participation from athletes, as a modern approach to teaching the skills of serve accuracy and serve reception in sitting volleyball. The strategy aims to provide players with instructional methods that are compatible with their abilities and help them retain information for the longest possible period. The research problem emerged from the observation of the limited use of modern instructional strategies with athletes with special needs, as well as the need to introduce diverse methods that add excitement and motivation to their training programs and encourage their active participation in both sports and community activities. Accordingly, the study aimed to identify the effect of the SQ3R strategy on developing the accuracy of serving and receiving in sitting volleyball. The researcher adopted an experimental method using two groups (experimental and control) with pre- and post-tests. The results, after analysis and discussion, revealed a positive effect of the SQ3R strategy in developing the research variables in favour of the experimental group.
