Study of the self-skill of young football players through an analytical approach

Abstract

The significance of the research lies in the construction of an analytical study of young football players' self-skill. Furthermore, the role of the psychological aspect, which is the deciding factor in resolving competition results. Being exposed to the subject of football players' skilled selves, which may supply some information on the player's emotional and emotional characteristics. To be within reach, athletes' positive view of themselves is a necessary driving force towards performance and victory. This thought is evident in their self-confidence and the outcomes of their evaluation of their perception of themselves or their concept of themselves or themselves among the players on the same team, each of whom differs according to his position in the arena and the tactical duties assigned to him. As a result, there are variances and variation in the level and shape of the skill self that players in all lines face. The following are the research objectives: Preparing a measure of young football players' skill self and detecting the extent of difference between different lines of play in the dimensions of football players' skillful self (under study). The researchers anticipated that there are statistically significant differences in the variables of self-skill among junior football players across different lines of play. There is a statistical function association between footballers' self-skill and other clubs. The researchers utilized a descriptive approach, and the research community was represented by the junior academies of the Middle Euphrates for the season 2021-2022, which included (91) players "representing (7) academies from the research community, who were picked at random. As for the players, they were chosen deliberately and according to the requirements of the research by (13) for each team. The self-skill scale consisting of (40) items was applied to the (91) members of the research sample. And those who represent the players of the Middle Euphrates academies during the period confined between 27/5/202 and 1/7/2022, in accordance with the scale's criteria and instructions, and after completing the scale's application. The researcher collected and arranged the sample's data in preparation for extracting the objectivity of the testers' response and conducting statistical treatments for it. After discussing the results, the researchers concluded that the skill has an important and prominent impact on the results of the differences and their arrangement between the Middle Euphrates football academies. The researchers recommend focusing on removing the players' skill self and developing it because of its impact on achievement during competitions.
