Abstract

The significance of the research is in the construction of an analytical study of the higher mental processes of emerging football players, as well as the psychological aspect, which is the deciding factor in resolving competition results. Being exposed to the issue of footballers' mental perception, focus, relaxation, and body language, which may operate to provide some information about the emotional and emotional qualities that the player loves being accessible. Athletes' good self-image is a necessary motivator for performance and victory. This thinking manifests itself clearly in self-confidence and the outcomes of their evaluation of their perception of themselves or concept of themselves, as well as the extent of their development among the players of the same team, each of which differs according to its position in the arena and the tactical duties assigned to it, and thus there are differences and discrepancies in the level of higher mental processes confronting players in all lines. Preparing a scale for young football players' higher mental processes and defining the level of disparities between different lines of play in the dimensions of the scale for football players (under study). Researchers hypothesized that there are statistically significant differences between the different lines of play in the dimensions of mental processes in young soccer players. The researchers anticipated that there are statistically significant changes in the dimensions of mental processes in young players playing football across different lines of play. There is a statistical function association between the mental processes of football players and other teams. The researchers utilized a descriptive approach, and the research community was represented by the Middle Euphrates junior academies for the season 2022-2023. It featured (91) players from the research community representing (7) clubs who were chosen at random, whereas the players were chosen on purpose. The mental processes scale, consisting of (24) items separated into (6) dimensions, was applied to the (91) members of the research sample in accordance with the research requirements of (13) for each. Individuals who represent the players of the Middle Euphrates academies during the period confined between 5/27/2022 and 7/1/2022 according to the conditions and instructions of the scale and after completing the aapplication of the scale. After discussing the results, the researcher collected the sample data and organized it in preparation for extracting the objectivity of the testers' responses and performed statistical treatments for it. The researchers concluded that the higher mental processes had an important and prominent impact on the results of the differences and their arrangement between the football academies in the Middle Euphrates. The researchers recommend focusing on the dimensions of the players' higher mental processes and developing them because of their impact on achievement during competitions
