The current study aimed to investigate the effect of the Plan Strategy on the academic achievement of fifth-grade scientific students in Islamic Education and the development of their tolerance thinking. A quasi-experimental design was chosen for two equivalent groups (experimental and control). The researcher deliberately selected two secondary schools, Al-Takhi and Suhaib Al-Rumi, both of which are day schools located in the Al-Hajjaj district of the Baiji district, as the field for the experiment. The sample consisted of 66 male and female students, randomly divided into two groups: an experimental group, which was taught using the Plan Strategy, and a control group, which was taught using the traditional method. To ensure the validity of the research, the researcher matched the two groups on some variables that might affect the independent variable, such as (age, intelligence, and a pre-knowledge test). The researcher also developed an achievement test consisting of 25 items and a scale to measure the development of tolerance thinking, which included 32 items. Based on the results, the researcher provided several recommendations along with a number of proposals.
