Abstract

This study investigates the risks encountered by passengers in the realm of air transportation, encompassing those associated with various types of aviation accidents as well as risks linked to acts of piracy, aircraft theft, or hijacking. After identifying and categorizing these risks, the research delves into the legal frameworks designed to prevent such risks and mitigate their occurrence to the greatest extent possible. Additionally, it examines measures for addressing and compensating damages should these risks materialize, focusing on national legislation, international conventions, and treaties. This approach aims to provide robust legal protection on both political and global levels.
